This manuscript, a letter to the Editor, is in response to the recently published article describing the combination of an anterior approach axillary nerve block and the suprascapular nerve block for shoulder surgery. The authors claim it is a novel. However, the anterior approach to axillary nerve block was described long ago. A few more points on this interesting topic are also discussed.
