Ethics & Policies

Editorial Policy
The editorial and publication processes of the journal are shaped in accordance with the guidelines of the International Council of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), the Council of Science Editors (CSE), the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the European Association of Science Editors (EASE), and National Information Standards Organization (NISO). The journal complies with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (doaj.org/bestpractice). 
Originality, high scientific quality, and citation potential are the most important criteria for a manuscript to be accepted for publication. Manuscripts submitted for evaluation should not have been previously presented or published in an electronic or printed medium. The journal should be informed of manuscripts that have been submitted to another journal for evaluation and rejected for publication. The submission of previous reviewer reports will expedite the evaluation process. Manuscripts that have been presented in a meeting should be submitted with detailed information of the event, including the name of the organization, the date, and the location.
Ağrı Journal does not accept multiple submissions or duplicate submissions of articles published in a different language. Nevertheless, the articles will not be processed that are sending again by different new ID numbers which has been already rejected or that are still under processing (revised etc.). 

Publishing Fee
AGRI is an open access journal. There is no fee for article submission, article processing or publication. Manuscripts can be reached from the web page of journal without any fees.

Author Contribution & Statement of Human and Animal Rights
Scientific contribution and responsibilities, any financial or other conflict of interest should be mentioned. Corresponding author should include the names of the authors who contributed to the preparation of the study and the manuscript and send to publisher after signing the form. When reporting experiments on human subjects, authors should indicate whether the procedures followed were in accordance with the ethical standards of the responsible committee on human experimentation (institutional and national) and with the Helsinki Declaration of 1975, as revised in 2013. When reporting experiments on animals, authors should be asked to indicate whether the institutional and national guide for the care and use of laboratory animals was followed. Please print out the form (Author Contribution & Statement of Human and Animal Rights Form) fill in the details about the article and sent to publisher by fax or electronic submitting system after signing the form.

Statement of Informed Consent 
Patients have a right to privacy that should not be infringed without informed consent. Identifying information, including patients’ names, initials, or hospital numbers, should not be published in written descriptions, photographs, and pedigrees unless the information is essential for scientific purposes and the patient (or parent or guardian) gives written informed consent for publication. Informed consent for this purpose requires that a patient who is identifiable be shown the manuscript to be published. Authors should identify Individuals who provide writing assistance and disclose the funding source for this assistance. Identifying details should be omitted if they are not essential. Please print out the form (Statement of Informed Consent Form), fill in the details about the article, ask the patient or next of kin to sign the form, and sent to publisher by fax or electronic submitting system after signing the form.

Copyright & Statement of Conflict of Interest 
Authors should also state that there is no conflict of interest with any financial organization regarding the material discussed in the manuscript. Transfer of copyright form which is signed by all authors must be sent for accepted manuscripts. Please print out the form (Conflict of Interest & Transfer of copyright form), fill in the details about the article and sent to publisher by fax or electronic submitting system after signing the form.

Open Access and Commons User Licenses
Open Access 
The Agri is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access. 

Commons User Licenses  
Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) For non-commercial purposes, lets others distribute and copy the article, and to include in a collective work, as long as they credit the author(s) and provided they do not alter or modify the article. This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0) .

Policy of Screening for Plagiarism 
The manuscripts are scanned by the Publisher’s Office using the iThenticate program for determination of plagiarism and non-ethical situations.
